Everyone has special memories about certain books. Every time I see certain book covers, it brings back special times with my dad, my teachers, or by myself. Here are a few of my favorite titles.
Kid's Books
Dav Pilkey is one of my favorite authors of all time. He has a really diverse sense of writing style and makes the best illustrations. When I found the Dumb Bunnies, I laughed so allowed that people started to look at me strangely in the book store. A must read!
The first time I read the Amazing Bone, I was sitting in my mom's 3rd grade class. I laughed, cried, and got scared in some parts. It took me to an other world and I was 25 years old!
This has to be my favorite adventure kid's book of all-time. It has adventure, romance, and death; all within the first five pages of the book! I was forever scared of great horned owls afterwards.
When you meet Max,, you will want to have a wolf as a friend. He is so cute and cuddly. Too bad his dad wants him to become a fierce wolf.
Frankie reminded me about myself when I was a kid. I was a tomboy and everyone wanted me to act like a girl. I didn't like it. I just wanted to play kick the can, play chase, and climb trees. This book reminds me that we need to accept everyone for who they are.
This was one of the first books that my dad had me read in English. He had a record of it and I would listen to it every day after school. I still have the record.
